HIDDEN CHRONICLES

Reprints & Permissions

Want to share a Hidden Chronicles story with a class, publication, exhibition, or audience of your own? Linking to the original page is the simplest starting point. Reproducing the content requires a closer look at the rights involved.

Tell us exactly what you need

Send a message beginning with “Reprint request.” Include the article URL, the exact text or visual you want to use, the intended publication, the format, the expected audience or distribution, and whether the use is commercial. Tell us if you plan to translate or edit the material.

Wait for written permission

A request is not a license. If permission is available, its scope, credit, duration, permitted changes, and any fee must be agreed in writing before reuse. Permission for one project does not automatically extend to another.

Check images separately

A photograph shown in an article may belong to a museum, agency, researcher, photographer, or other contributor. We cannot grant rights we do not hold. Check the credit and license attached to the individual asset and contact its rights holder where necessary.

Attribution and legal exceptions

Credit alone does not replace permission. Nothing on this page limits a use that is independently permitted by applicable law, but we cannot decide whether a particular legal exception covers your project.

If you believe your work appears here without proper authorization or credit, send the page URL, identify your work, and explain your connection to it so the concern can be reviewed.
